Support a scholarship

Encouraging more women into the field of engineering is a priority for UNSW and for many leaders in industry.

For some women, the availability of a scholarship can be the deciding factor when choosing between degrees. Women in Engineering Scholarships encourage and assist high achieving female school leavers to study engineering at UNSW, and connect these top students with opportunities in industry.

Women in Engineering Scholarships can apply across all engineering degrees or be tailored to a specific discipline, as decided by the sponsor. We have nine disciplines of engineering at UNSW.

Most of our scholarships involve a commitment of $10,000 per year for four years and an opportunity for the scholarship holder to undertake industrial training with the sponsor organisation.

Applications for scholarships can be made through the main UNSW scholarship website.
