New dual degree - Civil Engineering & Surveying

The School is delighted to announce a brand new double degree which commenced in Semester 1 2016. The new UNSW combined degree Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Surveying (five years) is designed to equip students for a career as a professional engineer and as a professional surveyor.  This will allow students great flexibility in their future careers.

Graduating students will be eligible for accreditation as Civil Engineers with Engineers Australia, as well as Surveyors through the Institution of Surveyors NSW and the NSW Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI).

Major studies: For Civil: Engineering construction and management, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering or water and coastal engineering. For Surveying: Cadastral (boundary) surveying and land law, engineering and mining surveying, modern geodesy, navigation and earth observation, precise GPS/GNSS positioning, satellite and airborne imaging, surveying applications and design, business management, sustainable land development and management, water and soil engineering.

Current students will be able to transfer from an Engineering program into this program. (UAC Code 425402/ UNSW Program Code 3776)
