School location
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is located at the UNSW Kensington campus. There are also two major off-campus facilities; the Water Research Laboratory at Manly Vale and the Heavy Structures Laboratory at the Randwick Sub-Campus (map in UNSW Facilities site).
Finding us on the Kensington Campus
The School occupies the Civil Engineering Building (H20*) and in the Vallentine Annexe (H22*). Buses to and from the city centre stop at the Anzac Gate which is a pedestrian-only entrance to the campus. From the Anzac Gate walk straight ahead past International Square until you see stairs leading to the Scientia building. The School is next to the Scientia.
If you take UNSW express bus service (895) from Central Station, you can get off the bus at the second stop (Gate 8) then walk across the Commerce Courtyard, passing the side of main Library, through the Scientia Lawn to the School building.
The easiest vehicle access is via Gate 11 on Botany Street. Limited paid parking is available on the top floor of the parking station.
