The research internship positions for 2019

We will consider applications from Civil and Environmental Engineering students in countries outside Australia who have completed 3 years of study at undergraduate level to work with strong research groups at UNSW for a 8-week duration each year. Masters students and students who have completed 4+ years of study may also be considered.

Applicants must be ranked first or second in the class at their home institutions in order to be eligible to apply.

Successful applicants will be placed in strong research groups in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering to assist with ongoing research projects.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering regularly ranks highly in international league tables for its research excellence. The objective of the internship program is to attract the best and brightest students from across the world into the School, who may be interested in pursuing research careers and PhD studies and developing collaborations

All documents (including the completed application form, a brief resume demonstrating your past achievements and research interests in the area for which you are applying, a copy of your transcripts outlining your current grades and class rank, and proof of correspondence with an academic in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering indicating they are willing to supervise you) need to be scanned (if necessary), zipped and emailed to the academic who would be your supervisor.
