The student experience at CVEN
We offer amazing hands-on opportunities to learn and various social activities for our students. Below is just a taste of what’s going on.
70 students visited Manly Dam and WRL for the 2017 Advanced Water Engineering (CVEN4507) field trip.
Drs. Felder, Zamani and Splinter took to introducing close to 550 2nd year water engineering students to the water labs at the Water Research Laboratory.
We run this field trip as part of the CVEN9640 Coastal Engineering class, which comprises a mix of fourth year undergraduate students as well as postgraduate students.
Introducing design theory and best practice in engineering construction methods and operations planning
Honours students Pearl Lee, Nick Cranney and Michael Dean have been exploring different ways to better enable cycling as a transport system in Sydney
Second year construction management students went on a fascinating tour of the new UNSW Bioscience project, led by industry partners Brookfield Multiplex
eReuse Inc. , now an Honours Thesis project at the School, is an example of engineering that involves social and technological solutions to deliver on all three pillars of sustainability
The Mer Project was approached by final-year students in technical and consultative ways that recognised the importance of culturally responsive and integrated solutions.
