2017 ProgComp registration opens
2017 UNSW Computing ProgComp (Programming Competition)
Compete with high school teams from across Australia for prize money and scholarships!
High school students are invited to put their programming skills to the test in UNSW’s annual ProgComp (Programming Competition). Students of all programming ability are encouraged to compete, and can use any Programming Language that they like in the competition.
- Teams of three share one computer and attempt to solve as many of the programming tasks as possible, using any programming language(s).
- The Main Round (Friday 16 June, 2017) is held in high schools
- Grand Final is held at UNSW during the annual Open Day (Saturday 2 September, 2017)
To get involved, a supervising teacher will need to register their school's students to compete. Registration opens on 1 May and closes on 2 June.
The first step is for the teacher to set up a registration account. After their account is confirmed, they will be able to register as many teams as they like. They will need each student’s birthdate, email address and grade. A teacher will also need to be able to supervise participants during the Main Round.
ProgComp is free to enter and has been running since 1997, offering a great platform for high school students to develop their programming skills.
