Outgoing student exchange
Students are eligible to spend one or two semesters overseas at a partner university and receive credit towards their program at UNSW, while living and travelling in a new country.
The courses you take while on exchange are credited back to your UNSW program as transfer credit, bear in mind the marks you obtain while on exchange are not transferred and no credit is transferred for any course you fail.
More information on outbound student exchange can be found here.
We strongly recommend you start planning your proposed exchange early as it will take approximately nine months from lodging your application to enrolling at the host university.
A list of courses which have been previously approved can be found here.
Please note this list is subject to change and should be used as a guide only when selecting your electives.
Students can also refer to the FAQs - International Exchange guide for further information.
If you have any questions regarding the application process or relevant partner Universities please contact the Global Education and Student Exchange Office.
