An Electrical Engineer may be responsible for research, design, development, manufacturing and management of complex hardware and software systems and reliable cost-effective devices, many involving the use of new information and computer-intensive technologies.

What is Electrical Engineering?

Electrical engineers work in the research, design, development, manufacturing and management of complex hardware and software systems and devices ranging from computer and power networks to advanced robotics and biomedical equipment.
 

Career Opportunities

You may choose to work with a telecommunications or electricity company, with large industrial groups in fields ranging from steel making to mobile phone manufacturing or with specialist firms making hi-tech biomedical or Internet products.

This degree is accredited by Engineers Australia. Substantial or complete recognition of the degree is also given in most overseas countries.
