ARC Training Centres
The School is host to two new Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centres:
- The ARC Training Centre for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites (AMAC) aims to develop a new generation of innovative researchers who can transform Australia’s high-performance carbon composites manufacturing industry. It uses advanced automation technology to position Australian manufacturers as world-class agile producers of high-value advanced composite structures.
- The ARC Training Centre for Fire Retardant Materials and Safety Technologies aims to train industry-focused researchers to improve the fire safety of lightweight structures and fire protection systems, including fire suppression.
