Postgraduate research degrees

Postgraduate Research

A vital part of the activities at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering centre around rigorous and diverse research programs. Research activities range from individual PhD projects to large multi-disciplinary research projects.

Just as we collaborate closely with industry to ensure our courses are industry relevant, we are called upon by industry to be involved with important research projects, many of which are run by our PhD students.

If your interests lie more in contributing new ideas and knowledge to the field, then you should consider doing your postgraduate study by research, with options of both a doctorate or masters in research.
