Industrial training

An essential component of all Faculty of Engineering programs at UNSW, Industrial Training provides students with the chance to put what they have learned in lectures – the theory and engineering design principles – into a practical context. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for students to get a clearer understanding of the various roles of an engineer – and make better decisions about their own futures.

To qualify for graduation, undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 60 days of Industrial Training. This can be done during one or more of the long vacation periods.
