The School of Petroleum Engineering is currently seeking candidates for two positions
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to train the next generation of drilling engineers. The School offers high quality courses in drilling and production engineering and the candidate will be involved in delivering the courses, designing new courses and updating the content with special relevance to industry practices. The candidate is expected to integrate new concepts of drilling and production developed to more challenging resources.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in petroleum geophysics, acquisition and interpretation of seismic data, inversion and data assimilation. The candidate will have sound capabilities in delivering high quality courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. They will be expected to work closely in collaboration with academic staff at the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences in particular with the new Petroleum Geologist to be recruited.
