Alternate Pathways

Creating opportunities for students to enter UNSW Engineering through Alternate Pathways

At UNSW’s Faculty of engineering, we understand your path to undergraduate or postgraduate study may not always go to plan. We offer a number of pathways to study with us for students who have the potential to become excellent engineers.

Your admission to study at UNSW is based on more than just grades, we are looking for potential students to demonstrate their suitability for study in engineering, and their preparedness for the challenges in their chosen area of study.

UG Alternate Admissions Pathways

Faculty of Engineering Admissions Scheme (FEAS)

Our FEAS alternate pathway is for high school graduates who don’t meet the Guaranteed Entry Rank (GE) of 91.00.

If your ATAR is within 10 points of the GE, we will evaluate your ability in maths, physics and other sciences as well as attitude and motivation, as well as a video submission, to consider your suitability to undertake an undergraduate degree at UNSW Engineering.
