This begins before you even start university – when you can attend our inspiring workshops and WIE events on campus – and continues as you study your degree and beyond. With industry scholarships, the UNSW Women in Engineering Society, bespoke mentoring and development opportunities and our program of industry events, we aim to ensure you emerge from UNSW as a highly employable and qualified professional.

The mission of ARC @ UNSW is to make your life at uni fun, personally rewarding and ultimately more affordable. Clubs and societies are a great way to meet new people with similar interests and build friendships. Whether you’re passionate about giving back to the community, music or making stuff, and with over 300 clubs and societies there is something for everyone at UNSW clubs and societies.

Arc supports over 30 Sports Clubs. From Archery to Wakeboarding, there are lots of sports clubs to get involved in.

UNSW also have intervarsity teams who compete annually at the Australian Unigames, Eastern Unigames, Snow Games and Indigenous Unigames.

If you’re looking for something less competitive, there is Social Sport every afternoon on campus where the emphasis is fun and friendships!

At UNSW, there are so many opportunities to give back to the community. Check out our USTEM portal for more information on how you can make a difference in our local community.
