At the Faculty of Engineering we warmly welcome international students. More than 25% of our current undergraduate students come from overseas and we help and encourage them to work alongside local students. It’s something that enhances everybody’s experience of study.

The widest range of undergraduate degrees
The Faculty of Engineering at UNSW offers a wide range of undergraduate degrees, including dual degree programs (also known as concurrent or combined degrees). All engineering degree programs have a strong emphasis on design and problem solving, and hands-on experience.
Entry requirements for undergraduates
Entry into an undergraduate degree at the UNSW Faculty of Engineering requires the equivalent of Year 12 (completion of high school). Check out the entry information on the UNSW International site to find out more.
If you hold overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction, you will need to provide evidence of English language proficiency.
